What in the world are Gary and Sheree talking about this week on 4mics 13teeth 1anklemonitor? One of the biggest hurdles in recovery is staying consistent in our structure. For someone first coming clean we (i) had huge problems being consistent in my daily life. While i was in addiction i pretty much did things when, how or whenever i wanted. So now trying to change my life i have found out that being consistent even in the small things like picking up my daughter every day from school, showing up to work every day or just being consistent in telling the truth when asked something these things paid huge dividends to myself worth. Now by stepping it up in such a way that even when something happens or gets in the way, or it seems to be a real struggle trying to be consistent then i am persistent about it. Things have come trying to knock me back down into addiction either by my own making or by circumstances that i cannot control however i am going to stay consistent in my persistence. At 4mics 13teeth 1anklemonitor we are not professional counselors (not hating just being honest). We are a group of people who have come out of addiction and are very vocal about telling others that there is hope.
